CANCELLED: HydroFlex/SVC workshop: Increasing the value of hydropower through increased flexibility

THIS WORKSHOP IS CANCELLED DUE TO THE COVID-19 SITUATION.
A WEBINAR SERIES WILL BE ORGANIZED INSTEAD.
MORE INFORMATION WILL FOLLOW SOON.
During this workshop, hosted by the Swedish Hydropower Center (SVC) and HydroFlex, researchers will present the latest results from the HydroFlex project.
The future of Nordic hydropower in the European energy system will be discussed based on presentations on the following topics:
- Future flexibility requirements
- Flexibility of turbines
- Flexibility of the generator and converter
- Environmental impacts and their mitigation

The workshop is open to the public and free of charge.
COVID-19 info: We plan the workshop as a physical workshop at Uppsala University. However, if the COVID-19 situation does not improve and travel restriction are still in place, we will organize the workshop virtually. Registered participants will be informed about any change in due time before the meeting.
